Overview

NUS RIDGE Lab is led by Associate Professor (Practice) Zhiyong Huang in the Department of Computer Science at the National University of Singapore. He is also Academic Director of the NUS MSc (Artificial Intelligence & Innovation) programme and a Senior Principal Investigator at the NUS Chongqing Research Institute and the NUS Guangzhou Research Translation and Innovation Institute.

The lab's work spans computer vision and graphics, natural language processing and large language models, and data privacy, security, and analytics, with applications in software engineering, medical imaging, music, robotics, and industrial AI. We collaborate broadly across NUS and with research institutes internationally.

A/Prof Huang received his Ph.D. from EPFL, Switzerland, and his B.Eng. and M.Eng. from Tsinghua University. He was previously a Senior Scientist at A*STAR's Institute for Infocomm Research.
